Write-up on the Data Analysis with Python workshop
By Vicky Twomey-Lee in Dublin Sept. 4, 2014, 10 a.m.
Related event: Data Analysis with Python (Sat 30 Aug 2014)
Setup was required in the morning, it was my bad, I thought everything would be conducted via a shared iPython Notebook, but it wasn't too bad. Installing Anaconda works for both Windows and MacOSX. After installing, one just has to search for "iPython Notebook browser" and it launches the browser ready for you to create a new notebook.
Kevin's notes and iPython Notebooks can be found in his Github repository.
Lunch over, back to the workshop. Some dice rolling experiments at the moment. iPython Notebook is still pretty awesome.— Coding Grace (@CodingGrace) August 30, 2014
