Maths Cafe

Maths Café is for people who want to brush up on their school maths or who maybe never fully got it in the first place :)

We know you're going to be rusty! So, we start each topic from scratch. What you can expect is a lecture-free, relaxed, sociable and engaging experience.

We'll be using a new app, Slam, that supports face-to-face collaborative learning.

Global Learning XPRIZE

What's more, all proceeds go to the R&D of Ireland's only entry (that we know of!) for the Global Learning XPRIZE, a competition to enable child-driven learning.

The first session is functions and trigonometry.

Breakdown of the day:

  • 10:45 Registration
  • 11:00 Welcome
  • 11:10 Workshop starts
  • 13:00 Lunch (included)
  • 14:00 Workshop continues
  • 16:00 ENDS

We are currently confirming on location, but it will be based in Dublin city centure.

About Coding Grace

Coding Grace are a group of developers based in Ireland who love to code and do other geeky and not necessarily crafty activities. Some of us code full-time, or just for fun (or both). We have people who are part of other technical user groups such as Dublin ALT.NET, GameCraft, Python Ireland, Ruby Ireland and more…
We provide female-friendly workshops and events in an environment for developers and aspiring developers mentored by majority female instructors.
We aim to provide a support network for people from all backgrounds and hope our outreach will help bring those who are interested in code development together and learn from one another.
