Topics:

  • Visualisation design overview
  • Tableau - Tableau can help anyone see and understand their data. Connect to almost any database, drag and drop to create visualizations, and share with a click.
  • ggplot2 - Graphing package implemented on top of the R statistical package.
  • Bokeh - Bokeh is a Python interactive visualization library that targets modern web browsers for presentation.

Professional data scientist by day, self-professed nerd by night. Experience using R in business consulting (Deloitte), forecasting (Google) and telecoms (Amdocs). Loves Kaggling, and running.

🌈 Suzanne Little

Researcher at Insight Centre for Data Analytics (DCU) in image and video analysis writing programmes to recognise and find actions and objects, often in Python.

🌈 Kevin O'Brien

PhD Candidate in Statistics, who has been teaching R in the university of Limerick for 4 years. Also an organizer of the Dublin R user group ,with specific responsibility for workshops.
