We are delighted to announce Functional Kats' Kats Conf 2, and we are delighted to partner with them this year. We are extremely grateful that proceeds left over from the conference will be donated to Coding Grace future events.
Kats Conf 2 is a conference taking place in Dublin who's main goal is for people to have a great time and learn about functional programming.
No FOMO with international and local expert speakers sharing their passion for programming.
They say the best form of learning is doing, and that's just what you'll do with a selection of top quality workshops on offer.

This is a group for anyone interested in Functional Programming. All levels of ability and experience are welcome. We meet monthly and together we'll figure out how to rewire our brains to think and code functionally.
Functional Kats started in January 2014 and has been going since, follow @functionalKats on twitter to learn more about stuff :D
Meetups generally begin with a programming challenge. You are encouraged to solve the problem in any language, ideally in collaboration with other attendees. After a break for some refreshments project a selection of the solutions on to the big screen for discussion.
From time to time we change the format to more of a talk/workshop, given by either a member of the group, or an outside speaker. We try to ensure that talks are tailored to allow for some element of hands on coding.

Coding Grace are a group of developers based in Ireland who love to code and do other geeky and not necessarily crafty activities. Some of us code full-time, or just for fun (or both). We have people who are part of other technical user groups such as Dublin ALT.NET, GameCraft, Python Ireland, Ruby Ireland and more…
We provide female-friendly workshops and events in an environment for developers and aspiring developers mentored by majority female instructors.
We aim to provide a support network for people from all backgrounds and hope our outreach will help bring those who are interested in code development together and learn from one another.
